Terms of Use & License

Last updated:

When you buy a pack, your church gets a license to use the files for its own ministry. Here's what that means.

Who we are

Cornerstone & Ink is run by Josh Garcia, doing business as Cornerstone & Ink. By buying from us or using this site, you agree to these terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

One purchase, one church

Each purchase licenses the files to one church (one congregation, including its campuses, services and livestreams). Another church, even a sister church or one in your network, needs its own purchase.

What your church may do

  • Use the files in services and livestreams, on social media, your website and in email.
  • Print them for church use, such as bulletins, posters and handouts.
  • Edit the text and colors.
  • DIY packs: edit the files as much as you like, for your church's own use. You may upload them to Canva, Google Slides or similar tools to edit them for your church.

What your church may not do

  • Share the files with other organizations, including other churches.
  • Resell the files, or give them away, whether edited or not.
  • Re-upload or publish the files, or anything made from them, as templates, for example on Canva, template marketplaces or file-sharing sites.
  • Use the art on products for sale, such as shirts, mugs or prints.
  • Claim the art as your own.

Standalone art

A standalone image is one high-resolution file sold on its own. It uses the same one church license as a sermon pack. You may use it in services, livestreams, posts, and print for that one church. You may not share it, resell it, or use it on products for sale. It is not a personal-use wallpaper.

Wallpapers and art from the gallery

Wallpapers are licensed for personal use by the person who bought them, on their own phone, tablet or computer. You may not:

  • Use them in church slides, social posts, bulletins, websites or other ministry or business materials. For that, buy the series pack.
  • Share, resell or re-upload them, or offer them as downloads anywhere else.
  • Print them on products for sale.

A free welcome wallpaper follows the same rules.

Shared designs

Our packs are shared designs, so other churches may use the same art. Your church's name, titles and details are what make each pack yours.

What we may do

  • Offer the same designs to other churches, with your church's details removed.
  • Show your finished done-for-you pack in our portfolio, unless you ask us not to.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown on the site. Payments are handled by Stripe on its secure checkout page; we never see your card or bank details. Where sales tax applies, it's added at checkout. We may change prices for future orders, but never for an order you've already paid for.

Delivery

  • Done-for-you packs: we'll deliver your files by email or Google Drive link within the time shown for your pack, counted from when we have everything we need from you.
  • DIY packs and wallpapers: you'll get a download link by email right after payment. Each link works for 7 days and up to 5 downloads. Lost it? Use "Resend my download link" on the site or email us.

Refunds, fixes and revisions are covered in our Refund Policy.

Your content

Your church is responsible for the content it sends us, including logos and text, and for any permissions needed for the Bible translation you use. King James Version text is in the public domain in the United States; other translations have their own quotation rules.

Orders we may decline

We may decline an order that conflicts with our statement of faith. If we do, you'll get a full refund.

Our promise, and its limits

We check every file by hand and we'll fix anything we got wrong. Beyond that, the files and this site are provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. If we ever disagree, please email us first; we'll do our best to sort it out together.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. The terms in place when you bought something apply to that purchase.
